YWLA named 2021 National Blue Ribbon School

On Wednesday, Sept 22, during a surprise assembly, the students and staff of Young Women's Leadership Academy, an all-girls college preparatory school within San Antonio ISD, learned the campus had been named a 2021 National Blue Ribbon School based on its overall academic excellence. This is the second time that the STEM-focused school has earned the distinction – it first earned recognition in 2015.
